Anne Christensen is a longtime yoga practitioner with a holistic teaching practice that focuses on increasing strength, balance, and flexibility. A varied background with fashion industry professionals, journalists, and first responders has highlighted the tolls that daily stress and repetitive movements can have on the body and mind. As a native of Denmark, Anne has taught yoga to the Danish Heart Association, residents at a rehabilitation facility, and members of the Workers’ Union North. In Los Angeles, Anne teaches yoga to first responders in addition to private clients. Anne is a Yoga Alliance registered 200-hour teacher certified through Yoga Blend in Burbank, with additional yin teacher training from Black Dog Yoga. Anne also holds CPR/AED and First Aid certifications through the American Red Cross.

An all-round yoga practice to move the body, increase strength and joint mobility, improve balance, and focus the mind. Standing, seated, and supine poses where students can explore both movement and holds. Appropriate for all levels; modifications offered.
YIN YOGA CLASS
A focused practice that deeply stretches joints, connective tissue, and bones to increase flexibility and range of motion. Seated and supine poses aided by supportive props allow gravity to do the work during the 1 to 5 minute holds. Appropriate for all levels; modifications offered.
YIN & YANG YOGA CLASS
Get the best of both worlds in this 55-minute Yin/Yang yoga practice that merges the energetic and strength-building yang poses with the still and introspective aspects of yin. Expect a combination of standing, seated, and supine poses. Appropriate for all levels; modifications offered.
