Dana Byerlee a certified mindfulness meditation teacher and RYT-200 trauma informed yoga instructor. She brings a unique sense of empowerment and healing to her classes, helping students cultivate a deeper relationship with their true selves, and access more joy and compassion off the cushion/ mat.
As a cancer survivor, meditation and yoga have been the foundation for healing, reclaiming her body, and deep spiritual growth. Dana has been featured in Yoga International, Prevention.com, and authored a chapter in the book Yoga Rising: 30 Empowering Stories from Yoga Renegades for Every Body. Dana is passionate about lifestyle and preventative medicine, as well as wellness in the workplace. She currently leads meditation and movement at some of the top companies in Los Angeles.
In sum, Dana’s mission is to help people embrace their lives fully and with an open heart, and believes that together, the world-wide yoga community can affect radical, positive change.

Drawing upon the wisdom of Yoga, Qigong, Buddhism, and the latest scientific research, this meditation offers support for those working through traumatic experience, chronic illness, or extreme injury.

Together we’ll train in loving-kindness, compassion, equanimity, forgiveness, and joy. By developing these qualities of the heart, we naturally feel less isolated and more deeply connected to ourselves, others, and the world.
