Yogi Steven has been practicing the full range of Raja and Hatha Yoga practices for over 25 years and teaching for more than 15 years. He knows personally what it is to overcome and transform many physical, mental, emotional and spiritual obstacles using the ancient spiritual science of Yoga. He wants to help lead you to a life of total inner peace and fulfillment in a strong, healthy and comfortable body.
Yogi Steven is an avid hiker and camper and has summited Mount Whitney, the tallest mountain in the United States. He plays flag football competitively with young men half his age and competes in Masters track events.
He has made the pilgrimage to the holy mountain of Mount Kailash in Tibet at 18.500 feet as well as Arunachala in southern India. He is an initiate of several Kriya and Siddha Yoga traditions. For several years he has been organizing and leading “Divine Love Chant Circle”, a gathering of people who enjoy chanting, singing, music and dancing in celebration of Divinity. During the Iraq War, he lead “Peace Walks” in 24 communities to practice and inspire the principle of “Peace in Oneself, Peace in the World”.

KIRTAN – DIVINE LOVE CHANT CIRCLE
First Saturday of Every Month 7:00PM-9:00PM
Come enjoy an evening of Divine chanting, singing, dancing and music making with Yogi Steven and friends. This participatory event will leave you vibrating with peace and joy as the sacred sounds and syllables penetrate and heal your soul. Kirtan is the traditional devotional chanting of sacred phrases (“mantras”) in a “call and response” style set to live music. Don’t worry if you don’t sing or chant or don’t know Sanskrit or don’t know the mantras…we will teach and guide you into Kirtan bliss! The Yoga of Devotion belongs to everyone with an open heart. Musicians and chant leaders are invited to attend and play in the Circle. Please contact us to let us know you would like to participate. By donation, nobody turned away. Namaste!
